Here's a bit of Ticket History for you...On January 4, 2000 Mark Cuban bought the Mavs. On On July 27, 2001 the American Airlines Center officially opened with what was, at that time, the largest ribbon cutting ceremony of all time. (Whatever that means).... All through the year 2000, as the stadium was being built, smaller "opening events" were held to keep the media and the public interested and informed on what was happening with the new stadium.

This video was taken on Nov 1, 2000 on what eventually became the Mavs practice court. The Morning Musers (as well as enough other ticket personnel to make this a hell of a Ticket version of a Where's Waldo vid) took on Mark Cuban in a half court battle. There was blood...there was sweat...there was temporary lighting....and there were exposed cement walls to be sure!
